Week two of the Corona Madness….Governor Sisolak ordered all non-essential businesses to close down. This included Casinos. As a result, Las Vegas is a ghost town. Jim and Melanie went to the Strip on Saturday night, shot videos and photos  of a near-deserted street. The photos were eerie.

We discussed the situation we as Americans have found ourselves in…is this governmental overreach? Is it justified?  Ultimately we believe that that, while this is a serious situation, we think that it ultimately was a bit of overreach, but on the other hand, we may have saved lives. Guess we’ll never know for sure. We just want life to get back to normal soon.

We also discussed the passing of music legend Kenny Rogers, an artist we both admired and enjoyed.

We shared a brief audio clip of another favorite artist, Neil Diamond, who performed a version of Sweet Caroline, humorously altering the lyrics to suit our current dilemma.
