When discussing options for tonight’s drink, one of us blurted out the name of a beloved 80s beverage, Bartles and Jaymes! Jim decided to go on a wine cooler safari, and…whaddaya know? It still exists!
The original flavor is not currently available, but 4 tother tasty looking flavors are currently being made. Jim chose the most appealing option, Ginger and Lemon. We tried it out during our third hour, and here’s the verdict…
It was just okay.
Maybe because it wasn’t the original flavor,. Maybe because it is now in aluminum cans insead of glass bottles, Maybe it’s that our tastes have changed in 3 decades. Probably all 3. This would be a very refeshing drink on a hot day, or just something to throw back with a tasty snack. But nothing really special. We would certainly grab one if it was lying around or easily available. But it’s not something we would go out of our way to get again.
